Terms and Conditions

Your use of the Medusa School of Motoring Web Site is subject to these terms, and by using the Medusa School of Motoring

Web Site you show your agreement to such terms.

If you disagree to these terms, please do not use the website, copy or print pages from this site solely for personal, non-

commercial purposes. You may not otherwise use, modify, copy, print, display, reproduce, distribute or publish any information

from this site without the express permission of Medusa School of Motoring. At any time Medusa School of Motoring may and

without notice make changes to this site or to the services or products described in this site. Information on this web site may

contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. Information may be changed or updated without notice. Medusa School

of Motoring may also make improvements and/or changes in the products described in this information at any time without

notice.

Privacy and Refund Policy

The images, logos and names on this Web Site which identify Medusa School of Motoroing or third parties and their products

and services are proprietary marks of Medusa School of Motoring and/or the relevant third parties.

Bookings

Online/Telephone/Email Bookings

1.All bookings made on the Medusa School of Motoring website, by telephone or email are final once confirmed. Refunds will

only be accepted/considered where failure to supply services has been caused by Medusa School of Motoring.

2. Payments made using the Medusa School of Motoring website are directed to an external payment processing site which is

secure. Medusa School of Motoring cannot be held liable for any payment errors, failure or other such incidents that occur

during the payment process.

3. Additional charges may be applied in respect of credit/debit card payments for services/goods provided by Medusa School of

Motoring. Full details of such charges will be provided at the time of booking.

4. Bookings made online, by telephone or email will not be considered as final until a confirmation has been received from a

Medusa School of Motoring representative or a confirmation derived from a Medusa School of Motoring authorised source.

5.By making any booking, including intensive and Pass Plus, with Medusa School of Motoring you agree that you, or the learner

driver,are fit to drive and will remain fit to drive for each lesson that is booked. It is the responsibility of the learner driver to

ensure that they meet the requirements set out by the DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority) for driving a motor vehicle

on a public road. Where a Medusa School of Motoring instructor suspects that a pupil is not fit to drive for a lesson, the lesson

will be cancelled and charged at the full hourly rate as published. No refund will be made in this instance.

6. Standard hourly lessons may be cancelled/rescheduled at any time up to 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson free of

charge. Any changes/cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson will be charged at the normal rate as if the

lesson had actually taken place.

7. Block bookings made for which a discount has been applied will not be refunded under any circumstances. Any cancellations

made by the pupil will forfeited unless rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson time.

8. Medusa School of Motoring will endeavour to ensure that you booking remains a surprise at all times. We will contact the

person named on the booking form until such a time as the lessons have been booked by the recipient after which time all contact

will be transferred to them. No further contact will be made with the original purchaser (except for payment queries) unless the

recipient gives their expression permission to do so. Medusa School of Motoring cannot be held responsible exposed surprises

where the purchaser has failed to provide alternate contact information.

9. Gift vouchers are valid for one year from date of purchase. No refunds will be made for vouchers already purchased for

whatever reason unless Medusa School of Motoring is unable to provide the services for which they have been bought. After

expiry the voucher cannot be redeemed and no monies will be refunded. Illegible/defaced or photocopied vouchers cannot be

accepted and no refund will be made for such vouchers.

Intensive Course Bookings

1.By making a booking online, by phone or email you agree that you have successfully passed the DSA (Driving Standards

Agency) Theory Test and have a valid Theory Test certificate with at leat 2 months validity left.

2.By making a booking you agree that provision has been made for a Practical Driving test whether through Medusa School of

Motoring or booked independently. Medusa School of Motoring cannot be held responsible for any bookings made where a

practical test has not been secured by the pupil/customer.

3. Intensive courses require a deposit before confirmation is made for the booking. If a pupil cancels the course at anytime and

for whatever reason, Medusa School of Motoring reserves the right to retain the paid deposit. Any remaining monies paid will be

refunded less any lessons already taken. Where lessons are refunded due to cancellation, these will be calculated as: Total

amount paid less deposit divided by number of lessons remaining.

4. Where a booking has been made and a deposit/full amount paid and Medusa School of Motoring are unable to fulfil the

booking due to illness, unavailability of instructors or adverse weather conditions a full refund will be made less any used lessons.

5. Cancellations to a pupils Practical Driving Test by the DSA are not the responsibility of Medusa School of Motoring. Whilst

every effort will be made to reschedule your course no guarantee can be made. We will consider a refund less any lessons

already taught on a case by case basis.
